Põlva County Development Centre Foundation was established on 30 June 2003 by the county’s local governments.

 

The main purpose of the centre is to promote and guide the development of Põlva County in terms of business and development, communities and non-governmental organisations, tourism, culture, education, health promotion and branding.

 

The centre offers free counselling to entrepreneurs, investors, non-profit organisations and local governments. In addition, the centre carries out regionally significant development projects and projects to improve the living environment.

 

 The Põlva County Development Centre is part of the national network of county development centres, which employs over 140 specialists and  consultants.
